I am the way, the truth and the life

The Gospel of John records many bold declarations made by Jesus. Declarations like:

• I am the bread of life - Jn 6:35

• I am the light of the world - Jn 8:12

• I am the gate - Jn 10:7

• I am the good shepherd - Jn 10:14

• I am the resurrection and the life - Jn 11:25

• I am the way, the truth and the life - Jn 14:6

• I am the true vine - Jn 15:1

Here's the thing... Jesus did not just carry a message, He IS the Message. It was true then and it is true now.

Perhaps the most powerful declaration that Jesus made is found in Jn 14:6 "no one comes to the Father, except through me".

As we countdown to Easter, why not work your way from Jn 3 to Jn 21. As you do, you will discover who He IS, what He has DONE and what that MEANS for you!

"For this is how much God loved the world - he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.
